(WXYZ) – Hotel company IHG is warning customers about a data breach at 1175 of their hotels across the United States.
InterContinental Hotels Group says the breach occurred in the last part of 2016 at a number of their facilities. Dates vary by location.
Officials say credit card numbers, expiration dates and security codes were taken.
IHG operates under a variety of names, including Holiday Inn, Staybridge Suites, and Candlewood Suites, among others.
They have set up an online tool that guests can use to check if they stayed at one of their hotels during the time of the data breach.
