NEW YORK (Dow Jones)– MasterCard Inc. (MA) removed Global Payments Inc. (GPN), the transaction processor involved in a data breach, from its list of approved service vendors, the card company said Wednesday.
The move follows Visa Inc.’s (V) decision to remove the transaction processor from a similar list it maintains stemming from a breach Global Payments disclosed in late March.
